Letting Go And Becoming One With Myself 🌸

Last Month of August I went through a breakup and as this was my first time being broken up with I hadn’t truly taken the right steps to make an effort to be okay with it in the long run it got to the point where I found myself crying every day and even going days without eating which isn’t okay for anyone to go through. For a while during that time I’d look in the mirror and feel less; I would compare myself to some other girl which made it even worse because as a human we are very different everyone has their flaws and I would down myself because I didn’t have a “bigger butt” or I didn’t have “big boobs” and I didn’t feel pretty at all. With just a short part of saying this, today is September 10, 2023 It has been a month and although I know that healing doesn’t happen overnight I have come to the realization that this isn’t the end of my life and I have many more blessings and opportunities that are going to come my way in due time. I have started looking at the positive side of things and wrote down a few things that I expect from myself to better my life and my mental health. As I know I am human and I have feelings it is never okay to feel like you’re alone or have a thought of feeling less of yourself because we are all beautiful no matter what you might be going through this isn’t the end. A person once told me that if your life is hard this is just a better way to say your learning. That stuck with me because everyone has something they’re battling or going through in their life and they might not even show it but that doesn’t have to define you. So as of today, I will start choosing to love myself and be happy with my body and embrace it because I know that I only have one life to live.
