Things to know about a Sheltie

Yes she’s ADORABLE and yes she’s sassy! One big thing to note about Shelties is that they are a natural herding dog breed. Keep this in mind when they are around other animals and children. They may nip at the ankles because it’s a natural instinct for them. She’s very playful. She barks a lot. I’ve done a lot of training with her from agility classes, etiquette classes and train the treat machines. Still, her favorite past time is looking out the front window and barking at everyone. 😬 She gets a deep grooming every month which really cuts down on all the hair in the home space. She’s an empath and very sensitive to the shift in energy through the home. If anyone gets upset she will be the first one to make you aware of it by leaving the room.
