Hidden Gem: Book Thrift Store @ Bras Basah Complex

Let me spill a secret, recently on my adventures with my friends, we chanced upon a book thrift store 📕📔 at Bras Basah Complex!

🔖 Name: Evernew Bookstore

📍 Location: Bras Basah Complex 01-07 (Right next to the road facing the national library)

The second hand bookstore is home to not only the typical non-fiction books but it carries a wide range from fiction best sellers, childrens books to even textbooks! From top sellers marked 2 for $10, to niche topics like psychology and philosophy, you can pretty much get any genre you want here for a fraction of the original price 🥳

‼️ First glance: what caught my eye were the books showcased on display outside priced at only $2.90 for 2 books going at $5! When i entered the store, it was pilled with shelves to the ceiling, all lined with books but it was very cosy and easy to navigate where the various genres were at 🤩

💸 What I got:

- The subtle art of not giving a f*ck ($12.90)

- The light we lost ($5)

✨ Final rating: 4.9/5 (minus 0.1 cuz they didn’t have my favourite book i was looking for)
