Perfect Lip Color 💄

Sometimes choosing the right lipstick shade for your skin tone can be difficult so here are some tips! For reference, I have a light to medium warm skin tone.

Try not to pick a shade that’s way lighter than your natural lip color. I call this “concealer lips” because it doesn’t look natural!

Also try not to pick a shade that’s way darker than your natural lip color. This can tend to wash you out. There are some exceptions though and feel free to rock a bold lip whenever you want! Sometimes I like to do a dark eyeshadow look with a dark lip to match.

I like to pick lip colors that are close to my natural lip color. This adds some additional color to your makeup look but doesn’t look unnatural.
