How to Contour ✏️

For the longest time I had no idea how to actually contour my face so my contour always looked muddy! But here’s my foolproof way to place your contour. For reference, I have an oval face!

I prefer to use a contour stick instead of a pot because it’s precise and easy to apply exactly where I want it to go.

When I’m looking in the mirror, I like to look straight on and also turn my head from side to side to see where the natural shadows are on my face. This is going to be especially in your cheekbone area. Since I don’t have a very defined chin or slim face, I also like to apply contour around my chin. I also apply it to my forehead to make my forehead appear smaller and on my nose to make my nose seem slimmer!

When I blend this out, I blend in an upwards motion toward my hair line. This helps you look more lifted and sculpted, and prevents your contour from looking muddy.
