New favourite ice-cream spot @ Beauty World

About 3 weeks back , I came across an ice cream shop on tiktok and it seemed really promising, so i decided to head down and try it myself. trust me when i say im SO NOT DISSAPOINTED!!

The shop is called Pompette. at Beauty World Centre . My friend and I almost gave up finding the shop as it was hidden at the toilet in the back but I have never been so glad to not give up. We were welcomed by the shop that looked like it would make all my childhood dreams come true, it is a very small shop yet it felt very cozy and welcoming. Not only was the shop welcoming , so were the workers and boss there too!!

On weekdays , their shop offers 2 flavours. And on weekends , they offer 4 flavours that frequently change as well!! Their ice cream is handmade by the owner and its also lower in sugar so we can eat with less guilt 😋😋

Firstly , I tried the Original flavour which cost $3.70 in a cone and $4.10 in a bowl without additional toppings. I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!!! I LOVEEEE IT SOO MUCH OMG!!! if yall tried the Tokyo Cheese ice cream , this taste very similar or even better!! The owner used meiji milk which is love drinking and now i love it even more in the ice cream form, it was a perfect amount of creamy that wont leave you feeling very jelat as well.

Secondly , I tried the Matcha flavour which cost $5 for a cone and $5.40 for a bowl without topping. At first , i thought that it might taste like a matcha latte as the orginal flavour was milky but NO. I WAS WRONG. It was soley just matcha. At first bite , you can tell that they use a good grade of matcha from the slight bitterness that you get. This one was not as sweet as the original but it is definately a must-try for all matcha fans!!

Thirdly , I tried the Chocolate flavour which was a special for that weekend and the owner actually gave it to us for free as he was clearing the machine for a new batch of Chocolate!! This chocolate was super rich and creamy. I would say that it gave off a sweet taste like milk choco at first and leaves you off with a hint of bitterness like dark choco. All chocolate fans like my mom will die for this!! It is not too jelat as well.

Last but not least, I tried this week's special which was pistachio which was $6 for a cone and $6.40 for a bowl!! The owner mentioned that he used pistachio powder and crumbs inside of the ice cream, he kindly let me try it first and I WAS BLOWN AWAY omd...surprisingly , i love this more than the matcha and chocolate , so did my mom!! It was not too strong of a pistachio taste but it is not too faint that you cannot taste it, you could feel the finely grind pistachio in your ice cream. My mom mainly ate this flavour and she absolutely love it as a ice cream hater. She mentioned that it wasnt too sweet and wasnt too overpowering which she loved!!

The uncle and his staff there are really very friendly and helpful! They let you sample the different flavours so you could choose to your liking. I would say for the price , it might seem expensive but the hardwork behind it and quality really made up for it!

I urge everyone of all ages around the area to go and try this ice cream place. I am sure you won't be dissapointed 😊😊
