What to know before you go to Devils Bridge

When I visited Sedona for the first time, Devils Bridge was at the top of my list of places to see! This hike did not disappoint and I can totally see why this place is so popular! There were some things I wish I had known before heading out here so here's what to know before you go!

This is 4.2-mile round trip moderate-level hike and I had read everywhere that it was easy, for the most part it was, but there are lots of different types of terrain like sand and rocks that made it a bit difficult, I wish I had brought my hiking poles for this hike so I would recommend bringing some!

Once you get to Devils Bridge you're met with an amazing view of Sedona, it truly is stunning! What I didnt know though is that if you arrive in the afternoon theres a huge line for a photo! We had to wait 20 minutes to get our shot, it was worth it but GO BEFORE SUNRISE so you dont make the same mistake we did!

Lastly, parking is tough here, this is where getting here before sunrise comes in handy, if you arrive around 6 you'll have lots of spots to choose from!
