Every single week I sit down and write down everything I need to get done, even if I don’t do half of it, or any of it. To most people, it doesn’t make sense why I plan to do things even when I can’t get it all done. But I promise you, there’s a reason, and you need to start doing it too!

When you sit down and write down everything you need to do, you’re committing the items to memory. You’re thinking about doing things, you’re proving to yourself that you have the time and ability to do them. You’re giving yourself a roadmap instead of being lost in a sea of a million things to do with no way out.

But what happens when depression, anxiety, the unexpected hits? When you don’t get any of it done? You pick yourself up and you plan for next week. You set the goal to get at least one thing done next week, and you reward yourself for accomplishing that task.

If you’re like me, you’re overwhelmed, tired, burnt out, and running on fumes EVERY SINGLE DAY. And small tasks seem like mountains. But if you don’t keep trying, you will never make it past your problems. You will be stuck with them for life.

This week my goal is to get everything on this list done. I’ll update you guys, and if I can get even half of it done, I urge you to try and get one item crossed off your list this week. You’re not alone in your feelings, as cheesy as that sounds. I’m here with you and I promise we’ll get through this.
