#Luxe | Arm Candies by PRADA

I’m sure u have noticed the Prada Re-edition series since 2021. They are Prada Re-issued bags from the 2000, 2005 and 2006 which are still made in the brand’s iconic nylon.

I’m a fan of vintage bags but it is really hard to find and score a good one. So lazy me decided to go for a Re-edition instead!

The Re-edition 2000 and 2005 bags are equally popular in my opinion. I had a hard time deciding which one to get too! So here’s a mini comparison of the 2000 mini bag and 2005 re-nylon bag :

✨𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀✨

✔️ Both are coming with 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙠𝙚𝙮 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 that indicate ‘Prada Re-edition 2000/2005’

✔️ The 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙡 𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙤𝙨 are both lined with Saffiano leather

✔️ Both coming with 𝙨𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙚

✨𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀✨

▪️ 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙥: The 2000 mini bag comes with woven fabric handle while the 2005 re-nylon bag is pretty similar with LV’s Multi Pochettino design (comes with detachable shoulder strap, a chain strap and a removable zipper case).

▪️𝙎𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚: Femininity (2000 mini bag) vs Playful (2005 re-nylon bag). Personally I feel the 2000 mini bag is my go-to bag! It is dainty and yet is suitable for casual wear because of the woven handle! U could easily create a chic style with the 2000 mini bag! While the 2005 re-nylon bag is more suitable for street wear or cool style in my point of view!

▪️𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜: S$1840 (2000 mini bag) vs S$2900 ( 2005 re-nylon bag)

Overall, I would pick 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗥𝗲-𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗯𝗮𝗴 because:

▫️I strongly believe u should carry a bag that speaks about u! Personally I wear dresses more frequently so I think 2000 is suitable for my daily style!

▫️ I don’t think it is worth to pay extra S$1k for the detachable strap and zipper case.

▫️The 2000 mini bag a good entry-level purchase if you want an iconic Prada piece. It is hard to find an iconic bag under S$2k right now.

▫️ It is definitely lighter than the 2005 re-nylon bag!
