SAVE THIS if you’re planning a birthday party 🎉🎂🎈

planning your sweet 16th or your big 21st birthday party? this guide is all you’ll need for your birthday party planning

1️⃣ backdrop

- if you’re buying from SKP, you’ve got to get around 2-3 depending how big your photo wall/party is. there’s normally measurements as well but if you’re in a rush to grab something please grab at least 2! i grabbed only 1 for the first birthday party i planned and it looked so sad…

- skp has only options: gold, silver and rose gold so if you’d like to get nicer colours try shein and taobao!

2️⃣ balloons

- make sure you buy the 1 and 6 / 1 and 2 big balloons for you to hold onto them for nice birthday pictures

- skp sells a nice packet that has 3 different colours and this long plastic thing that allows you to make a very nice arc when you’re setting up the decorations so ive bought that the previous few times! they have blue, rose gold, silver and gold

- otherwise buying on shein and taobao will make your spendings much much cheaper

- if you’re thinking of getting helium to pump up your balloons it also depends if you find the use in it because the previous parties that i’ve set up we have never used helium and in the party that we have used it it was just to decorate slightly but it didn’t really make the place much nicer either

3️⃣ tablecloth

- get a nice tablecloth so that you can set up your cake and birthday presents nicely for your birthday picture!

4️⃣ happy birthday

- you can either get the happy birthday balloon set which will be more expensive but there are also the smaller happy birthday words strung on a string that is much cheaper if you’d like to save money

5️⃣ flowers

- a nice bouquet is also a pretty nice decoration to have at your birthday party, you could get your friends or your partner to get you one and you could lay it on your photo-taking table for pretty pictures
