my current shoe rotation

i’ve always had a bunch of hand me down shoes from my dad and i don’t think they necessarily made the best rotation, but ever since i started shoe shopping for myself, here’s my new and updated shoe rotation! all the shoes shown here are meant for casual settings but also vary in how casual formal they can be.

starting off with my loafers, i’ve always been a fan of moccasins since young mainly coz of my dad and this was the first pair of moccasins i have that is made from real leather. i really love the reddish dark brown colour and how versatile it is — i can wear it with a more korean looking aesthetic, or even a classy beach vibe. same goes for my other black chunky loafers which lies perfectly in between formal and casual, being able to elevate a casual outfit or tone down a formal one. it’s only downside is how heavy it is and it’s comfort so i might look for an alternative soon:)

next, my everyday beaters. i think everyone needs a white and a black pair of sneakers that they can use everyday for anything and everything. i would highly recommend looking at asics sneakers as everyday options that are not as basic as adidas and nike and as comfortable and sometimes even more affordable!

lastly, i think it’s always a good idea to throw some boots into the mix. they can put a fit together by making your fit’s silhouette more interesting. i usually use my SCDF number 3 boots that i got from a friend (yea ns uniform can be worn as fashion too who knew) and this old fit flop mid cut shoe that is not exactly a boot but kinda gives off the same energy.

it’s been super fun making my own rotation and i’m so excited to add even more shoes to the mix in the future!
