35 by 35

Well, in 35 days, I’ll be 35 years old. I didn’t expect to be at this point in my life and feeling so uncertain, overwhelmed and lacking in.. identity.

I feel like I’ve completely lost myself in motherhood, in my career, and in the stress of a shit economy. When I have time to myself, I have no idea what to do, because I’ve given up all of my hobbies and interests to focus on keeping our household alive and happy and with a roof over our heads.

We’ve lost three parents and our dog in the last three years. We’ve been paycheck to paycheck for longer than I can remember, because every time we get ahead, a vehicle or appliance breaks down, or hubby’s hours get cut, or the kids need the next size up in clothes or drivers ed or.. anything and everything.

I’m AuDHD with a teen and two toddlers, with almost all of our support system living hours away. I’m tired- beyond tired.

This might not seem like much. I understand that many of these things come naturally to most adults, but this list WILL BE my starting place for finding myself again. Anyone else struggling right now?
