Since my 2023 goal is to prioritize my health more, I’ve been exploring new places that serves both delicious and healthy meals and @calowrie.id is one of my go-to’s for nutritious meals!
Here are my top 3 fav menu’s from them!!
1. Nasi goreng kampung - 60k
272 calories
It consists of telor ceplok, tempe chips and they substituted white rice with shirataki rice. Tbh, ga kalah enak sama nasi goreng biasa sihh. It’s spicy and super flavourful which I love. It doesn’t feel as if I’m eating something ‘healthy’
2. Chicken nanban - 70k
436 calories
This was a super filling meal. This dish has a lot of components to it (chicken, salad, rice) and I love how creative they are with the ingredients. The chicken is crusted with cornflakes instead of normal flour and oven-baked. They also use greek yoghurt as the base of the nanban sauce making it less sinful. The nori shirataki rice was also really good and savoury.
3. Pho-king good - 70k
335 calories
This dish composed of shirataki kwayteow, lean brisket meat, beef broth, meatballs, bean sprouts and some greens. This is so good for those rainy days or when you’re feeling under the weather. The shirataki noodles were not super crunchy and didn’t have a spring-like texture which I love. It just tasted like glass noodles.
