my thoughts on september coffee…🫢☕️

as a self-proclaimed relatively frequent café hopper, i was REALLY excited to try out this cafe because i’ve heard so much about it on lemon8 and tiktok… but sadly, i was left feeling quite disappointed ☹️ here are my thoughts! 👩🏻‍💻

TBH, the food were all pretty mid for the price point… the beef ragu was like 75% shredded beef & sauce and 25% noodle so the taste of the beef was really overwhelming for me, which was not something i enjoyed. as for the other dishes that my friends tried (the crab linguine & croissant), the general consensus was that it was quite blend & it did NOT taste as good as how it looked 🥲 you can definitely get better pastas and pastries for half the price elsewhere. the truffle tater tots, however, was good but it comes in a rather small portion and the tiramisu was a very delectable treat but it’s definitely on the pricier end 🫢

𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄:

the café, although located beside a busy road, was actually really quiet (when i went on a friday evening of a public holiday) 🤫 the minimalist design, dim & comfortable lighting, and how clean the place was made dining there a really pleasant experience ☺️

𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐈 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊?

well… yes! i didn’t try any of the drinks but i can definitely see myself coming back here with a few friends and chatting for hours if i am somewhere nearby because the environment is so peaceful & calming 😅 but as for the dishes that i have tried there so far, none blew my mind and i don’t think i’ll ever see myself dying to come back so i don’t think i’ll be back anytime soon 🖤
