Here are a few reasons why I can’t stop listening to these songs:

• Never Going Back Again by Fleetwood Mac

I’ve been struggling to find peace with the fact that I can’t keep returning to people who are no longer in my life, and this song reminds me to stop looking at the past and to keep moving forward.

• Chasing Waves by Vista Kicks

This song is such a vibe and I’m obsessed. I’ll admit I found it on TikTok, but I love the chorus. I suggest listening to this song while driving with the windows down on a sunny day.

• Creeps by Koe Wetzel

A banger. Koe does not miss. That’s it.

• Fantasy by Kali Uchis featuring Don Toliver

I’ve been influenced by TikTok to listen to Kali Uchis and I have no complaints. I listen to this song when I need a confidence boost or just feel like dancing.

• Little Black Flies by Eddie 9V

This song has been stuck in my head all week and I often catch myself humming the chorus while I’m doing homework. It’s so catchy and I can’t help but sing along.

• Puffer by Cautious Clay

A friend of mine actually sent me this song and I can’t thank them enough. Like Chasing Waves, this song is on repeat every time I’m driving down a backroad with the windows down.

• Boyish by Hippo Campus

I actually found Hippo Campus in high school. My favorite song of theirs is called Violet, but this song is a close second. It’s fast-paced, catchy, and takes me back to a simpler time.

• In Dreams by Sierra Ferrell

I could’ve sworn this song went viral on TikTok a while ago, but I never took the time to listen to the full song. After listening to it at least thirty times, it reminds me of having a crush on someone and even though they don’t know you exist, you can’t help but think about them all the time.

• Safety Net by Ariana Grande featuring Ty Dolla Sign

I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of Ariana Grande, but this lyrics hit home. “Is it real this time or is it in my head?” I can’t tell if this guy is flirting with me because he’s genuinely interested or because he’s simply bored and wants attention. One of the worst feelings is falling for a guy and not knowing what his true intentions are, and that’s the situation I’m currently in.
