Best scones I’ve eaten,?!?

If you’re staying around Bukchon area in Seoul, you HAVE to visit this cafe!!

Cafe Layered serves a wide range of scones and cakes. For the scones, they serve sooo many different types, both sweet and savoury.

Ranging from 4500 - 5000KRW, Some of their scones flavours include:

- Lemon

- Strawberry

- Pretzel butter

- Spring onion cream cheese

- Cinnamon pecan

- Blueberry compote

- Coconut

- Chocolate

- Cranberry,

and more!

The cakes selection was pretty extensive as well. Prices are around 7000 - 8000KRW. Some flavours include:

- Red velvet cream cheese

- Dark chocolate

- Carrot

- Blueberry cheesecake,

amidst many others

I’m not particularly into sweets, so my friends and I decided on the savoury options instead. We tried the spring onion cream cheese and pretzel butter scone. The spring onion cream cheese wAS SOOO GOOD. Both ingredients complemented each other sooo well and the filling was generous too. The pretzel butter scone was unique, with the scone literally being a pretzel and there was butter in between. I really liked this too!

Overall, Cafe Layered is a really aesthetic cafe with a great variety of pastries. Only downside is that it is a little cramped (the outlet I went to), and it may get a little crowded on the weekends. It’s definitely worth the wait though!
