My favorite fantasy reads 📚🧚‍♀️✨

The first book I ever got completely lost in when I wan a kid was Harry Potter. My family was on a big group camping trip and it was freezing cold, dumping rain all weekend, and all us restless kids were driving our parents crazy. I remember a couple of the moms leaving to go into town to buy each of us the first book and we all curled up in the tent together and read for the entire weekend. Shy, quiet, little me was suddenly immersed in a world where the outcast kid found out he was actually a beloved hero and I couldn’t put the book down. From there I found myself staying up late, reading the rest of the series by the light of my lava lamp (yes I’ve always been this cool), because I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next. To this day no other genre sucks me into its world the way fantasy does. These are 5 of my favorite fantasy reads. What authors or series do you recommend? 🤓📚
