I’ve been on night shift for about a month and half know and have found some ways to help restore myself after a stretch on nights!
- something that relaxes you!!! whether it be getting your nails or hair done or a massage… DO IT! massages are a GREAT way to relax your muscles after a several nights on shift. the quite time let’s you clear your head and just be in meditation.
- reading is my favorite way to wind down after a shift. usually find myself bobbing in and out of sleep with the book in my hand 😅 check out @nicschim.reads on Instagram for book recs & I’ll post on here too! currently reading the prequel hunger games novel “A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes”
- being active! (when you can!!) don’t put pressure on yourself to be at the gym everyday especially days your working. take care of yourself physically and mentally babes 🧘🏼♀️
- online shopping 🫢 you work hard, so make sure to get yourself those items you’ve been wanting (within reason ofc 😉) next on my list is Hokas
