how i edit my ig pics — warm moody vibe 🎞️

as a graphic designer by trade, i find that editting my pictures and maintaining a cohesive feed is my occupational hazard 🤧

i believe that having a nice feed can greatly improve the overall outlook of your instagram profile, be it for personal satisfaction or if youre a creator trying to appeal to brands! instead of using filters, i use the inbuilt iphone editting and heres how i achieve the no-filter warm moody look :)

for food pictures, its always good to lower contrast and highlights as this will make the textures “pop” but not in a harsh manner. slide the tint towards the right (makes the pic redder) to make food look more appetising. increase warmth for that “lived-in” look

for fit/face pics, because there is skin colour involved, dont adjust the warmth and tint too drastically. focus on the exposure and contrast of the picture, just by adjusting the contrast, highlights and exposure, textures such as my hair and the fold of my pants become more visible. lowering contrast can magically make your face texture more smooth too 🥵
