Guide To Charleston: What To Do In Charleston

Charleston is the cutest city and there are so many fun things to do when visiting. You will do a lot of walking when visiting so make sure to pack comfy sneakers and sandals with you. It was also really hot so make sure to plan accordingly. We stayed at the Emeline which was the perfect location, highly recommend.

Walking around Rainbow Row and The Battery was so nice. Charleston is such a historic city and it’s so cool to see the buildings that have been here for hundreds of years. Rainbow Row was one of the cutest parts of the city with the most colorful buildings (something you definitely don’t see in New York).

The Vendue Rooftop was another great spot that we decided to check out around sunset. They had yummy drinks and the hotel is filled with a ton of art and fun pieces of furniture as well. They have a few bars on the rooftop and such a great view of the whole city.

We decided to check out Folly Beach this trip but will definitely try to make our way to Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms next time. We rented beach chairs ahead of time online and spent the day hanging out. We stopped by Rita’s for lunch which was in town and pretty good for a quick meal.

Carmella’s was such a cool spot recommended to us by our hotel. It’s a dessert bar with tons of fun dessert-like drinks, sorbet, pastries and more. We had espresso martinis and they definitely lived up to the hype.
