How to clean your nails at home 🐚

Daily nail care can add up to healthy, clean fingernails. Outside of the times you have dirty fingernails, here are some tips for daily care.

Here are the steps i love to do to clean my nails or prep my nails:

1. Soak your nails with warm water for atleast 2-3mins just to soften the cuticles & it’s easier to clean

2. Push your cuticles with a cuticle pusher & scrape of dead cuticles. Make sure to not put too much pressure, just try to push gently & scrape gently! I also use my cuticle scraper to get rid of any dirt under my nails.

3. Trim excess cuticles using your clipper. I love to do this!

4. Wipe with alcohol or wash your hands to clean.

5. Apply oil or vaseline to your cuticles to keep them healthy, shiny & moisturized.

& you’re done! Please remember if you get a hangnail, trim it as quickly and evenly as possible. Don’t attempt to use your teeth as nail clippers — they’ll only injure your teeth and introduce bacteria in your nails & always always be gently with your nails!
