☁️ 3 EASTIE CAFES TO VISIT ☁️

have you heard the phrase “east side best side”? well, i guess i can agree to a great extent, especially with the unending number of cafes in the area 🥰 here are 3 spots i just visited in the last month that you can check out on your next adventure:

who said kembangan doesn’t have cafes? this is just a short walk away from the mrt, where you can enjoy natural lighting shining through the shop space and spend the weekday afternoon away, just like i did! their mains are pretty interesting, which i’m looking forward to try. my friend and i had afternoon coffee, tea and bakes. we enjoyed the secret hulk the most, which was a cold brew hojicha latte, brewed using oat milk and honey. my friend and i both thought this recipe was really memorable as the rich texture and quality of the hojicha was absolutely delightful to drink 😉

neptune

neptune is part of the atlas coffee chain, who has been a mainstay in the cafe industry for a long while now. neptune is one of their relatively newer concepts in the east, and is conveniently situated along the famous street packed with famous f&b stalls! they are situated below one of my yoga outlets, so i do drop by occasionally when i have my lessons there. enjoy your day away in their chic space with very soothing tones of mint blue. pictured is their summer chicken stew, which i absolutely adored when i first tried it years back. i love the deep flavours of the stew, the soft root vegetables and tender chicken thigh 👍🏻

this is another longstanding player in the east, who has recently expanded to jalan besar / lavender area too! my friend is a hardcore b&b supporter, and she brought me here years back when i first started out my coffee journey! i finally paid them a visit after a long while to order takeaway coffee. i love the range of bakes, coffee options and coffee equipment they offer. if you enjoy a cup of coffee with delicious house-made bakes, b&b is one of the places to go as their bakes look absolutely enticing. while this cup of iced white wasn’t as good as i remembered, their cold brew white have not disappointed me 🤗
