🚨WHY I WILL NOT RECOMMEND MICROPIG CAFE IN JAPAN

☕️ **MiPig Cafe - Harajuku**

💭 **Thoughts:**

I included this in my Tokyo itinerary because I thought it would be a unique experience, given that there are no micropig cafes in Singapore. It was fully booked so you have to make a reservation early. I’ve seen many tourist being turned away because they had no bookings.

❌ **Red flags:**

🚨I booked a private room thinking it would be quiet and away from the general crowd, but it was just a small partition, and I could still hear and see what was happening outside. It was overcrowded, chaotic, noisy, with kids screaming and scaring the pigs.

🚨The staff were rough with the pigs too. The pigs were constantly biting one another, with bloody skin and scratches all around. You can see their ears has wounds.

🚨The pigs were ALWAYS stacking on top of each other, and on my laps covered by blanket, as though they were trained to stay in that position for long periods.

🤔 **Conclusion:**

I felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave.

It was not a pleasant experience, and I will not be returning ever again 😭😭😭😭
