Tequila Zombie 🧟‍♂️

Not your average Zombie! 🍹

My husband just read Inherent Vice by Thomas Pynchon and we watched the movie right after. So we decided to make the ridiculous drink The Tequila Zombie that Doc sips in the diner scene. We found a few different recipes online and settled for this version.

To be fair, I did not think this insanity was going to be remotely tasty, but it kind of works! It’s certainly not for the faint of heart!

In the words of Chlorinda as she serves these to Doc and Sauncho, they’ll get you “well and f*cked up” and “they work pretty quick!”

Me and my husband had a hell of a good time making these and felt pretty groovy afterward ✌🏼

3 oz silver tequila

1.5 oz peach brandy

1.5 oz spiced rum

1.5 oz vodka

3 oz grapefruit juice

3 oz pineapple juice

.5 oz grenadine

**Makes 2 drinks** or if you want to do it like Doc and Sauncho, it makes 1 drink 🤣
