Ultrasound Expectations: 17 weeks and 5 days

Just had my 17-week and 5 day ultrasound, and guess what? My luck strikes again – I got that doctor. You know, the one who hands out ultrasound pics like they’re rare collectibles? One picture... ONE. And it’s usually something like a blurry blob where I have to pretend I see the baby’s nose. "Oh yeah, I totally see it, Doc!" 😅

And can we talk about those “pictures”? Like, I get it, baby’s moving and all, but this doc’s pics always look like I’ve zoomed in on a potato. I just want to show my family an actual human in there, not abstract art! 🎨

At this point, my expectations are real low when I see this doc walk in. I’m mentally prepared for a single, blurry masterpiece that’s going straight into my baby album titled “Use Your Imagination.”
