My Journey to Dressing for Me

For so long, I idolized people from social media and singers, always regretting how I looked. I tried to base everything about myself on how they dressed, how they did things, and their style. I even wore makeup just to fit in. It felt like I was constantly chasing an ideal that wasn’t even mine.

But then something shifted. I realized I was wasting my time trying to be someone else. Instead, I began dressing and doing things that *I* loved. Sure, maybe longboarding, running, and playing guitar aren’t seen as the most "popular" things girls do, but guess what? It’s what I love to do.

And when it comes to style? I stopped caring about trends and even stopped wearing makeup because it wasn’t what I wanted. Now, I just rock outfits that make me feel confident. Whether it’s laid-back, sporty, or something entirely my own, I finally feel like myself.
