hi besties! i passed my tp test in march 2024 w/ 10dp! driving isn't easy, and many of my friends only passed on their 2nd/3rd try... so im here to share some tips!

🛞 READ the Handbook!

- i never read it throughout my driving journey, but i read it a few days before my tp test and it really helped!

- sometimes the instructors don't really go into detail of how you're supposed to correctly complete the S course or turns, etc, but the handbook can help break it down for you

- read up on the parts that you're weak in and note them down! i brought a piece of paper with notes for the subjects im weakest at so that i could look at it right before starting the test

- someone helped to code a bot that notifies me every time a slot is released! this helped me to book extra slots for revision

🛞 don't skimp out on revision lessons!

- i know many people think it's a waste of money to go for revision lessons but its super helpful

- its basically a mock driving test and you can get your instructor to help you practice your weaknesses

- i was really bad at lane changing but improved through revision

- paying a bit more for lessons > another driving test 🙂‍↕️

🛞 go for varied instructors if you're in school

- personally feel that different perspectives helped me with my driving

- some instructors have good tips for certain subjects and gaining as many different tips was helpful!

🛞 make all your mistakes during the warm-up

- i was SOOO nervous and made the simplest mistakes during the warmup BUT don't let it get to you

- view it as a practice and u can actually ask the instructor for tips as well! if you suddenly forget how to park, just ask ur instructor (they won't be the tp tester! so they won't judge)
