my experience on china southern airlines!

hey! not sure which airline to take to china? i'll be sharing my experience on China Southern Airlines

some deets:

- i was flying from singapore to zhengzhou with a transit in guangzhou!

- round trip tickets cost $548sgd for me, i found the price cheapest on the china southern airlines website itself and not on trip.com, agoda etc

- tickets include 2x 23kg checked baggage (so generous!)

i'd say my flights to guangzhou and zhengzhou were pretty good with no incidents!

🎀 they provide meals for international and domestic flights; i was pleasantly surprised to get a full meal on my 2h flight from guangzhou to zhengzhou!

🎀 honestly the food on the flights were pretty good!

🎀 the seats for domestic flights are a little more cramped and old

🎀 the entertainment system is kind of useless because its hard to hear and theres only 1 monitor for every few rows so bring ur own entertainment!

🎀 there was a 30-45min delay for my flight from singapore to guangzhou

however, my flights back to guangzhou then singapore were HORRENDOUS

🎀 my flight was delayed by 7hours due to a typhoon going through guangzhou but i was only informed informally over the check-in counter when i reached zhengzhou airport

🎀 i was originally delayed from 1.30pm to 4.30pm but then was delayed to 6.10pm then 8.10pm..... and we were notified pretty late.

🎀 they provided a slip of paper for us to claim some money afterwards but upon reading the paper, it does not cover delays due to weather conditions...

i'd say china southern is pretty good if you dont experience any weather or other delays! but with my experience on the airline back to singapore, i might not choose them again 😬
