Bangsar area is an upmarket district in central KL just 15mins drive south-west of Bukit Bintang and KLCC known for their cafes and nightlife. Here's the 4 cafes that I visited during my last trip! 🥰 (All of them are within 10mins drive from each other, or even walking distance)

🧀 Bask Burnt Cheesecake

This is the legendary Tokyo Restaurant's cheesecake. Yes, they opened up a space dedicated for their basque burnt cheesecakes that are to die for 😭 It's dense and cakey on the edges, and soft as a mousse nearing the end of the triangle, it was a 10/10 even for my baker friend.

🍵 Niko Neko Matcha

Famous matcha brand, I think the the whole of Malaysia buys their matcha brand to serve in their own cafe. They sell all different kinds of matcha (I am honestly not into matcha so unfortunately I won't be able to explain what makes them so special) but the whole experience dining there was pretty unique, and their melty-crunchy houjicha stuffed cookie with biscoff crumble was nothing short of AMAZING 💯

🥞 Urban Daybreak

Ugh the whole place was super cute, warm cosy interiors, reminds me of Melbourne cafés. They serve all day brunch, is pet-friendly, and we loveee their Stout Pulled Pork with Poached Eggs, rest of their menu looks amazing too! 🤩

☕️ Swol Coffee

Here for the minimalistic aesthetics, this cafe is actually pretty well-known here on Lemon8. Coffee was quite good as well, but next time I would also give their pastries a try (was too full but they look good!) It was such a vibe to chill and chat here 😌
