Cosplay Budgets for Anime, Games and Tokusatsu. ✨👌

Hi! ✨🍋 I have been busy with moving house past two weeks so I haven't get any spare time to spend my time editing some photos. Since I don't want the gap between new post and last post gonna be too big so lemme sharing my cosplay budgets for different types of costume.

I decided to compare between three types of costumes which are anime, game and tokusatsu as both anime and games are commonly being cosplayed while tokusatsu as an extra for anyone who are a fan of toku. ✨

If you want to be a cosplayer but you have a small budget, you can start by cosplaying any anime characters since anime costumes are mostly cheapest. As you can see for Anya, the actual amount that I need to spend only for costume and hijab since I used my old shoes. For Chimera and any another props, you can ignore it as it's not a compulsory to buy. If you already have the hijabs, means you only need to spend less than RM100 for the costume.

If you are a big fan of games especially Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd or Honkai: Star Rail, make sure you have a lot of money to spend for a complete set especially if you prefer a high quality of costume. Fortunately, you can get some of HSR coses for less than RM200 with decent quality, not too high quality but also not that bad. For Genshin, it is normal to spend more than RM300 for full set unless you are ok with low quality of costume.

For tokusatsu, it can be cheaper than game's costume but also can be more expensive when the character have some props that released from Bandai. For example, Izu wear Humagear DX and also she use a driver belt to "henshin". However, the driver belt is not compulsory unless the characters are introduced 90% with a driver belt. For your additional information, this toku cosplay is civilian ver. If you're interested to cos suits ver, you need more than RM1k+ for a complete set.
