best dumplings in town? 🥟DUMPLING DARLINGS REVIEW

if you haven’t already heard of this restaurant called ‘Dumpling Darlings’, this is your sign to go and check it out! 👀

Dumpling Darlings is a local restaurant that specialises in unique dumplings across diff cultures & singapore-style noodles.

they currently have 2 outlets - one at circular road & the other at amoy street. as someone who has dined here about 4-5 times, this is my verdict on this popular dining spot:

1. FOOD

noodles:

🍜4 different noodle menu items to choose from, but this is their only ‘main’ dish option

🍜would highly recommend getting the braised pork noodles or the sichuan pork noodles (this isn’t really that spicy)

🍜wasn’t a big fan of the miso one when i tried it last time!

dumplings:

🥟 the star of the show! all of their dumplings tasted exceptional

🥟 the choices aren’t basic at all, not the kind of dumplings you’ll find everywhere

🥟 fave: smoked duck

least fave: veggie mandu

2. PRICE

i actually think the prices here are quite decent for a restaurant, especially one that’s located in Boat Quay.

a bowl of noodles only costs $8.50, or $12.50 if you’re getting the prawn one. you can also pay an additional $2 to add on more noodles.

as for the dumplings, i recommend getting a sharing player - you’ll get 15 dumplings for a price of $22! this way, you’ll also get to try out lots of the different flavours.

3. AMBIENCE

i’ve only ever been to their circular road outlet & i loveee the ambience here. it’s perfect for chill hangout sessions with friends or even a date!

other than the noodles and dumplings, they also actually have cocktails, beers and wines so it’s a great place to chit chat over drinks.

the big dumpling neon sign right outside the door is also so cute 🥟

OVERALL RATING: 9/10

i definitely think you can’t really go wrong with the choice to eat here! food is good, it’s affordable and the place is vibe-y and also easily accessible.
