TROPICAL PARADISE 🌴: a must-visit spot in Bali!

what started out as an impromptu day trip turned into one of my favourite days ever in Bali :,)

while i was planning for my Bali trip, Ubud was actually never part of my itinerary. i was staying in Seminyak & most of the activities we had planned and attractions we wanted to visit were around Seminyak & Canggu.

but i’m so so glad we decided to go to Ubud at the last minute because damn, it is GORGEOUS. out of all the places we saw in Ubud, this one was my favourite! 💚

▫️TEGALLALANG RICE TERRACE

this is actually a very popular spot in Bali & you might have seen multiple pictures of it before! i don’t even know why i hadn’t thought of including this in my trip plan initially…but the visit there was so worth it.

☀️here’s what you can expect to see☀️

- cascading rice fields that are arranged beautifully

- amazing scenic views (there are a lot of viewing galleries and platforms)

- tons of giant swings, like the famous Bali swing

- many photo spots like bridges, suspended platforms, nests to sit in etc

- infinity pool cafe & day club

the best part is that the entry fee to this luxurious haven is only 25,000 rupiah, which is only $2+ SGD! this includes entry to the day club as well. you don’t have to buy the tickets online or in advance, we got them at the ticket counter before entering.

we were here for about 3 hours in total, with 2 hours spent exploring the rice terraces and 1 hour chilling in the infinity pool 🫧

the infinity pool & day club are gorgeous and deserve their own post honestly so i might make another one about my experience there!

anyway, i really hope you guys will get a chance to visit the Tegallalang Rice Terrace in Ubud - the pictures don’t even do it justice, you have to be there to know how beautiful it is 💚
