First Diwali without my parents 🥲🥹

Happy Diwali, everyone! 🪔🎆✨ This Diwali feels a little different as my parents are not here with my siblings and I 🥲 They’re back in my hometown (Penang) and we aren’t officially celebrating Diwali this year due to personal reasons!

However, my aunt didn’t want us to feel alone and hence, invited us over for a simple Diwali 🥰

We started the morning by visiting a temple and honestly, it’s been so long since I went to the temple! We lit an oil lamp, prayed and walked around the temple 🪔🙏

We then went home to my aunt’s place for an amazing South Indian breakfast 😍 We also had some cookies & muruku after that 🥰

My cousins wanted to take their #deepavaliootd and hence, we went to a nearby place with nice background hahha!

Overall, it was a really fun and simple Diwali which was definitely fulfilling 🥰🙏
