My Graduation Outfit 🎓👗 [Below RM200!!] 😍

Hi gurlies! ☺️ In another episode of #graduationday, I’d like to share my graduation outfit details with you 🥰

After searching for weeks, I finally found “The One” for me 😍 When I saw this dress, I loved how simple yet elegant it looked! And it was the last dress left in the store! (So yes, I felt like it was meant for me 🙊) The dress is called “Aleesha Padded Bustier Fit & Flare Dress” from Love, Bonito and is available in 3 colours: Butternut, Navy Blue and Willow (I chose Willow!) I bought it for RM189.90, but do look out for discounts okie! :)

Since it took me a while to find my dress, here are a few helpful tips to select your perfect dress 😍:

👗 Know what you’re looking for.

Girls, it’s soo important to have a rough idea/vision of how you want your #graduation dress to look like! Eg for me, I knew that I had 3 simple requirements:

- Long dress

- Pastel colour (I tend to always go for Black/Navy Blue and wanted something different for a change)

- Minimal/simple design

Once you identify your criterias, it’ll be easier to search for a dress :)

👗 Compatible with skintone.

Eg: I couldn’t take Butternut even if I wanted to, because that specific yellow shade doesn’t look good on me!

👗 Try it on!

I know online shopping exists but for a big day like my Graduation, I couldn’t risk ordering it online! Sometimes, we think the dress will look good on us but it may turn out to disappoint :( Hence, I went to the store to try on some dresses to see if it looks good on me.

👗 Follow your uni rules.

For instance, some unis dont allow dresses to be worn (only traditional or full formal wear). Hence, make sure to check your Graduation Guide & Rules before you make your purchase!
