How I won the Student Leader of the Year Award 🏆🥇

Hi Lemonadesss 🍋 On another episode of my #CampusLife sharing, today I’d like to share one of my biggest achievements back in uni — winning the Student Leader of the Year (Female) Award 2021 🏆 during the MMU Awards 2021. This award is given to the individual who has portrayed great leadership and contributed significantly to the MMU community.

During 2020/2021, I held the highest position in my campus, that is: Deputy President of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC), whereby I led my council towards creating positive changes towards my university community. Through SRC, I managed to lead many new initiatives for students, which definitely helped me gain this award.

Besides that, I also joined many university-based events like ConvoFest, Career Fair, etc and held significant positions there as well.

I’m so thankful that my hard work paid off during the Awards ceremony, and I can’t thank my teammates enough! Ever since then, I told myself that I would keep working hard to bring positive changes towards my university mates. 🫶🏻

I hope this inspires some of you out there to start being active and contributing towards your university as well :)
