Here are some tips and tricks on how I normally get my pictures shot and how I ensure the results aren't disappointing!

To put it simply, make sure you have a nice camera, ideal lighting, a competent photographer, and that you're in a good mood!:)

Oh, and for photo editing, I heavily use the TEZZA app! I use the LOVER filter, but if you want a non-paid version, you can use the COCOA filter on TEZZA. It also delivers a nice filter.
