being vulnerable about my ✝️ journey online 🫶

I’m not going to lie; I get discouraged when I see comments like this. I’m just a woman with feelings, and I can be quite sensitive behind the screen. However, I try not to take it personally because some people simply don’t understand why I post about my journey, struggles, and victories.

They may see someone who appears to be bragging and seeking validation. But if only they knew—many Christians, including myself, don’t always feel great. Not every Christian obeys perfectly; some of us struggle to listen to the Holy Spirit. I’m a sinner. I’ve disobeyed God, engaged in worldly things, and have a past, just like many of the people Jesus healed and spoke to.

But I want to obey the Father. I want my identity to be renewed in Christ. I want to proclaim to the world how much God loves me and saved me, and how He can save them too! Yet, I am afraid. I’m scared of people’s opinions. That’s why I still share my testimony despite any backlash. There may be some who disagree with me, who try to discredit and invalidate my testimony, but they can’t. Because of God.

🌟Acts 1:8 (CSB):

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

All glory goes to Him, and I can boldly say that I am renewed and given new life through Christ! He is the living water. So go forth and be a witness to others; be a fisher of men.
