Steal Your Husband/Bf/Brother Shirt Outfit Ideas

If you girls are out of ideas and bored of your same clothes. Or simply you’re that type “one-time-wear” haha (I bet you are ><). So relax, I have brilliant idea for you which is lets dig and shop at our husband/bf ’s closet. As for me, I stole my big brother’s Tommy Hilfiger in size L.

Well that just called it as “Bf shirt” because the origin of “boyfriend fashion” is actually borrowing and wearing a boyfriend’s clothes in western culture. But yeah as long as its a men’s shirt (or garments) whether you steal or..borrow from your brothers or father or you actually buy at store (especially from thrift-store) its good to go! Hehe.

Here are my 4 ways on how to style the bf shirt.

Usually you better choose an oversized shirt (because that’s how it meant to be). Like what I wore, its in size L (whereas my actual size is XS). Its up to you whether to pick plain or stripes or any design. But my advise is safer to grab plain or minimal design, because the “bf-shirt-style” is for us (girls) to wear it as slouchy/boyish look.

#1 : Tucked In

⁃ Give this look a spin for a fun twist on your typical work function look. Great for work, a business lunch, or a charity function.

⁃ This one features a waist-highlighting band that accentuates the figure and creates the structure for your slightly baggy top. Opt for high waisted pants or skirt and heels/ full covered shoes.

#2 : Closed-collared, open over

⁃ For most boyfriend-shirt styled looks, you’ll see that the collar is worn open. With this look, keep your top buttons done up and let your shirt hang open over, showing off your mid-rise jeans.

#3 : Layering

⁃ This look is something fun to me as I find it unconventional way to wear a bf-shirt (or oversized shirt). Layer it with a sleeveless crop top does give different vibe as it shows that you’re experimenting your outfit but still keep it simple and clean.

#4 : Unbuttoned

⁃ The easiest and most convenient way to wear these shirts is definitely by unbuttoned it and using them as an outer piece.
