Let’s talk about making friends as an adult

I am SCARED!!!

Making friendships as an adult is way different than in school.

Relationships take more intentionality because we all have responsibilities now.

My fear currently is believing that I won’t find people that are willing to really TRY with me. That will put in the work and effort with me. That are mature enough to handle conflicts with me.

But I know I need to just truly open up my heart to the prospect of disappointment and giving people a shot.

Friendship as a kid is so different because you’re all in the same stage of life. You have no responsibilities, no bills, it’s easy to just pick up and be spontaneous.
