REVIEWING TOMO CAFE✨

ToMo Cafe (Joo Chiat)

I tried the branch at maxwell but they have a branch at joo chiat as well.

aesthetics wise:

cafe has a cute interior and plain walls for phototaking, going for a minimalist look

we ordered

- iced kuro goma coffee

- duck rose udon

- wagyu beef ragout

- grilled tiger prawn capelini

overall the drink was good 8/10 but the food was very disappointing! 3 of us did ratings and it averaged out to a 4/10 for each noodle dish.

the wagyu was the best out of the 3 dishes but was quite mid. the duck rose udon tasted weird (sauce and noodle pairing didn't go well), and the grilled prawn capelini was 😐 with overcooked prawns and wonton mee noodles..

overall would not go back unless for drinks and desserts only! usually don't have high hopes for cafe food but this was just BAD 😵
