I want a Jeep Renegade & I'm scared

I currently have a hyundai elantra sedan, and I loveee my baby. She definitely has been good to me as my first car accidents and all, but I want another vehicle now.

I want an SUV but nothing big. I want a compact SUV something just big enough to carry some furniture or lay down in the backseat if I want to on road trips.

I keep seeing Jeep Renegades and immediately thought yes! That will be my next car but I was soo scared at the idea. I have heard nothing but bad things about jeeps, so I am terrified at the idea of personally owning one. I heard no one Jeep Renegades will be made in the upcoming year because they have been discontinued, which scares me even more, like why are they being discontinued? Is it that much trouble with them?

I have come across other cute, compact SUVs, but I sadly don't remember the names, and when I search compact SUVs, they don't pop up. I want a compact suv, too, because the big ones just look like wayyy too much for me to handle.
