Our mindset is everything. What we think we become. Here are some of the simple (yet effective) habits I added into my life that completely changed my mindset for the better.
Gratitude Journaling: Writing down a few things I'm thankful for each day shifts my focus to the positive and reduces stress.
I love doing this as a morning practice to get my mind thinking positively.
Mindful Moments: Taking short breaks throughout the day to practice mindfulness helps me stay present and reduces overwhelm.
In the midst of chaos, it’s important that I find calm. For me that means stepping away from my desk for a few minutes, talking a walk outside, or even just a 5 minute meditation.
Positive Affirmations: Repeating positive statements to myself helps boost self-esteem and confidence.
Again, this is one that I add as a crucial part of my morning routine. I even made a playlist on Spotify with Morning Affirmations and it’s the first thing I listen to after my alarm goes off.
Self-Care Sundays: Dedicate a day to relaxation, hobbies, and activities that nourish my soul.
Having a day for myself and ONLY me is a game-changer. Every other day of the week is so focused on how I can serve others. Sundays are for prayer, self-care, and relaxation.
Remember, small steps lead to big changes! By adding some of these habits into your routine, you're investing in your long-term mental health (and that’s worth it).
