Have you spent nights tossing and turning? If you’re anything like me the answer is yes. Quality sleep impacts our energy, our mood, our focus, and even our skin! After years of fine-tuning my routine, I think I’m consistently getting the best sleep ever (seriously).

✨ Why Sleep Matters More for Women:

Did you know women tend to need around 7.5 hours of sleep per night? This is similar to the recommended amount for adults in general. However, some studies suggest hormonal fluctuations throughout our menstrual cycle might disrupt sleep patterns, leading to a slightly higher sleep need for some women. That's why prioritizing quality sleep is extra important for us ladies!

💤 My Nighttime Ritual for Restful Sleep:

1️⃣ Red Light Power: About an hour before bed, I swap out harsh overhead lights for lamps with a soft red glow. Studies suggest red light can help regulate melatonin production, the sleep hormone.

2️⃣ Blackout Eye Mask: A light-proof eye mask is a game-changer! It blocks out any distractions and creates a cave-like environment perfect for sleep. I’m super sensitive to light so this helps me sleep past sunrise. I’ve been using this one from Manta for a few months now.
