My bathroom makeover on a BUDGET🚿✨

Ok let’s talk about my BATHROOM! Fun fact: I studied Urban Planning/Design in college and doing anything with the home gets me SO excited and giddy 🤭

About a year ago I decided to renovate the second bathroom in my home. When I first bought the house, there were so many things we had to change that the second bathroom kept getting deprioritized. However, it was due for a change!

The old bathroom worked totally fine but was aesthetically 40 years behind the times. I didn’t feel calm or excited when using it. I wanted to give it a full re-brand without breaking the bank. How did I do it? I used only three place to shop: Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Amazon. Why? It’s fast, easy, and affordable.

Below are some tips to create a unique bathroom on a budget 👇

ADD YOUR TOUCH 🫶

Don’t be afraid to mix and match colors and textures! The oak sink I got from Lowe’s came with a silver faucet but it wasn’t the look I wanted. I found the black faucet and handles from Amazon instead! The one thing I look for when buying home goods from anywhere is the reviews!!

SMALL LUXURIES 🧖🏻‍♀️

Don’t be afraid to deviate from the norm! I fell in love with the rainfall shower head after a trip I took and NEEDED it in my bathroom. I found this shower head on Amazon and again, looked at the reviews before making the purchase. It definitely did not disappoint!

UNIQUE STYLE 🐼

Do what makes YOU feel happy. In a world of minimalism, it’s perfectly fine to add some interest. I chose the shower to be the “cool” part of the bathroom. I went with this Panda Marble from Home Depot. Because the tiles were larger, it made the install time (and later maintenance of it) so much faster & easier.
