3 activities you need to experience in Perú 🇵🇪

Going to Perú is one of the best trips I’ve done, No doubt!

I went for 14 days and visited different towns/cities and I will be making more posts about the places I went food I ate, and the full experience!

In this post I’ll talk about 3 activities I enjoyed a lot doing and you wouldn’t want to miss doing these activities when you travel to Perú.

⛰️ Hiking Machupcichu:

Machupcichu is one of the new seven wonders of the world. So definitely you have to see it. You could hike it for about 4/5 days and do camping 🏕️ until you get to Machupcichu or you can take the train and hike about 30 mins until you get to Machupichu. I took the train from Cuzco city to Machupichu town which cost about $180 round trip and it took 3h to get to the town, then hiked up to to the entrance for Machupichu and paid the fee $45 dollars, also paid a tour guy around $30 dollars to go hiking with us while telling us ( me and my friend) the history about Machupichu (totally worth it). When you get to the top and have that great view of the mountains it’s a great feeling, super peaceful! I loved it!!

🏜️ Sand Boarding at Huacachina:

Huacachina is a small town with a big desert and a beautiful oasis. The best part of going there besides the oasis is doing sand activities like riding the ATV’s and sand boarding it’s super cheap and fun, you can spend hours doing it and stay for the sunset at the end of the day 🌅

🌋 The Volcano’s at Arequipa:

Watching the sunrise in Arequipa was one of the best activities I got to do in my trip to Peru, it felt like a dream and because Arequipa is a city with not that many tall buildings it’s easy to have a great view of the volcanos 🤩🥰
