WHY ARE KNITS/ACUBI IN TREND NOW? + LINKS 🫢

recent trend i’ve been seeing is all about the “knits” hollow items!! and what i found out after researching was that it was an acubi fashion style - so think about long cargo skirts, hollow knit items, headphones type of fashion!! super super cool and definitely giving me japanese vibes 👀

So here is my personal take on styling my knit cardigan!! going with the vibe of edgy quick minimal style, I tried to make my cardigan stand out more by pairing it with a simple basic tube top underneath, keeping it neutral while still being able to see the hole detailing all over!

Following along, I paired with a cargo pants instead of a skirt as this one is one of my favourite - the graphite grey matches well with the bubble bag which also a trendy item right now 🫢

I could see why this knit is a hot favourite because not only does it cover more skin (perfect if you are coming from a more conservative family background), elevate the whole look by creating more texture BUT it is also super cooling ❄️ The holes make it super forgiving in the hot humid weather SG have!!
