DIY Mossy Coasters 🌿

I was in the search of coasters that fit my “aesthetic” and couldn’t find any so I decided to use what I have and make my own 🌿

I had some faux sheet moss and a roll of cork left over from previous projects so I used a coaster I already had as a stencil and cut them both out. Then I glued them together using a hot glue gun.

EDIT: I forgot to include that I also “sealed” them using mod podge. If you don’t use something to seal them you can risk the green dye leaching out when they are wet, also the little pieces of moss tend to shed.

The only thing I wish I would have done differently was to use a thicker cork so that the coasters wouldn’t curl. Otherwise, they have been working perfectly! 🖤
