Who doesn't love fries? I literally want to eat them 3-4 times a week with my dinner, but sometimes, store-bought frozen fries are quite high in fat and sodium, particularly if you're in a calorie deficit within your fitness journey. I've started making my own home made version of them and WOW I'm obsessed. They're even crispier than frozen fries, have a fraction of the calories, and I can flavour them exactly how I want.
These take under 5 minutes to prep and you just pop them in the oven! You can also air fry them for around 30 minutes.
Step1: Pre-heat the oven to 180 celsius.
Cut up your potato into thin strips and lay them on a baking tray with parchment paper.
Step2: Season the uncooked potato strips with cracked black pepper, salt, oregano, and paprika.
Add olive oil spray ontop.
Step3: Cook the strips in the oven for 25'.
Remove them from the oven, shake the baking tray, add more olive oil sprays and bake for another 15-20' or until crispy.
Let the tray cool for at least 5 minutes and enjoy!
