had the BEST BRUNCH fix at this cafe 🍳🤍

This cafe doesn’t need any introduction — it’s none other than Lola’s 🤍 #MyGoTo !!! Travelled all the way to Holland V for this as our more frequently patronised Simon Road outlet is now closed for renovation :( But once again, Lola’s did not disappoint, in fact the food tasted better here?

🥑 Miso Salmon Grain Bowl ($19): Quinoa,

miso salmon, charred baby corn, avocado, hanjuku egg. Can’t believe I haven’t tried this before? The salmon fillet was perfectly cooked, glazed and the colours of this dish I — 😭 Who says healthy food can’t taste good. Topped up $2 for an extra egg to share!

🍳 Shakshuka ($16): Another must-try from their brunch menu. Made with fresh tomatos, red bell peppers, onions, feta and served with sourdough. Option to add-on a pork sausage for $3, which I recommend for that extra protein. Loved the bursts of tangy, savory and creamy flavours of this one. Super tempted to replicate this at home now.

🥓 Bacon Carbonara ($18): Handmade fettucine, cream, sous vide egg, smoked bacon — you can’t go wrong with this classic combi. The texture of handmade pasta hits different, like ban mian hehe… got this to share so it wasn’t jelat. A good to try but not a must.

🍗 Honey Paparika Crispy Wings ($13): And this doesn’t need any description, just get ✋🏼

This might just be my favourite brunch spot because it’s so consistent each time and every dish is so well-executed. Watch me make my way to try everything on the menu.
