sen-ryo: is it worth the wait??? 🥵

Short answer is YES — truly premium quality jap affair with good ambience at reasonable prices ✨And yes, I reserved 2 months in advance for a decent early dinner slot but honestly it isn’t that bad? Just book first and think later ~

What we ordered —

🍣 Salmon Trio ($6.80): Salmon sashimi, Aburi salmon, Spicy salmon. Satisfying, thick and fresh salmon slices, where each bite was more salmon than rice.

🍲 Nabeyaki Udon ($15.80): Hot broth with udon, chunks of chicken thigh, ebi tempura and vegetables. The clear soup was light, sweet and so comforting. Texture of the udon was on point— super chewy and Q!

🦑 Ika Teriyaki ($13.80): Pleasantly surprised by the size of the squid 🫣 Well-grilled with a slight smokey aftertaste. Texture isn’t overly rubbery too and easy to bite — my must get.

🥘 Chicken Charcoal ($8.80): Another grilled dish done right. Served on a sizzling hotplate, these juicy chicken thighs were perfectly charred.

Other things we tried — Dragon Maki ($4.80), Ebi Maki ($4.80) the size of these caught me off guard (istg it looks bigger irl) and packed with so much ingredients. Tempura Platter ($7.80) and Soba ($7.80) also satisfied our Jap cravings well 🤤
